TOP OF THE CHARTS
Nominations
- Each company will hand out 3 'Top of the Charts' nominations at each regional competition. (These will be cardstock, similar to our Golden Tickets).
- CRITERIA
One routine should be selected from each level.
Routine can be in the Top 3 scores of Large Groups, Lines or Grand Lines.
Routines must be from 3 different studios. - Routine information must be submitted along with Excellence in Choreography nominees and Pastry Hip Hop Excellence winners by Sunday evening.
- Each company will be responsible for posting their nominees videos to their social media sites, and voting should be open from 8:00am (est) Wednesday - 12:00pm Friday (est) the week following the regional competition.
- Once voting is complete each week, the winner from each company must be recorded on our Googledoc.
- Each company should have a link on their website to view the 'Top of the Charts' Leaders. This link will take them to the SDA website). Example: 'Click here to view the 'Top of the Charts' Leaderboard.
- At the end of the regional season, the Top 5 routines with the highest number of votes from each competition will be named that company's 'Top of the Charts' Champions.
These routines will then be posted on all of our social media sites for an additional voting competition, and the winner will be named the 'SDA Top of the Charts Grand Champion'. - Awards will be given to all of the 'Top of the Charts' Champions, and the SDA Grand Champion will receive an award plus $500 in Star Dollars.
POWER RANKINGS
Regional Champions at all Star Dance Alliance Regional Competitions are automatically entered into the SDA Power Rankings. The Regional Champion is the highest scoring routine in each performance level and age division (small groups, large groups & lines combined) for the entire competition.
